Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp

Lake Wapogasset is located in Amery, WI, just 2 hours east of the twin cities. Wapo's mission is to provide opportunities for people to discover, build and celebrate their relationship with Christ, the church and each other.

Dates for Summer 2026:

  • Online registration opens January 15 to Church “Blocks”  – use this link to register: http://lwlbci.com/loc
  • Light of Christ Camp youth will be at camp the following weeks:
    • June 19-21 (SEEDS grades 1-3)
    • June 21-26 (Wapo Youth grades 4-9)
    • June 24 (Wapo One Day for grades K-2)
    • July 26-31 (Wapo Youth grades 4-9)
Note: Spaces are reserved for Light of Christ through February 16, and then are open to the public... so register soon!

  • Grades 1-3 (completed) are invited to attend SEEDS... a weekend camp just for the youngest campers to have their first camp experience.  
  • Grades 4-9 (completed) stay at Wapo and for Youth Camp. Grow in faith and friendship through campfires and worship, Bible studies, field games, crafts and much more!
  • Grades 9-12 (completed): Can attend Wapo's "sister camp", Ox Lake for a HS camp/leadership experience. Click here for more info on Roots.
  • First time at camp? If your child is unsure about camp and would like to just "check it out" for a day, then Wapo One Day is for you! From 9 am - 3 pm on a Wednesday, kids that have completed K-2 can come and experience camp just for a day. Parents can attend with kids or we will arrange carpooling (depending on numbers).
