Family Advent Event
Sunday School families are invited to participate in a Family Advent Event, which will take place at Light of Christ on November 24th. This event will start at 9:30 in the Sanctuary and take the place of regular Sunday School instruction. Children and their families will learn about the meaning of Advent. Each child will have the opportunity to make an Advent wreath and Advent paper chain. They will also get to take home their own Advent calendar that includes daily activities that will help them be mindful of the true meaning of the Christmas season.
There will be no Sunday school classes this day. Parents will need to attend this event with their children. In order to offset the costs for supplies, we welcome freewill monetary donations.
