Film Showing: Prairie Prophecy

  • 10:45 AM
Sunday, March 1 | After Worship | Fellowship Hall

Join us after worship on Sunday, March 1, for a special showing of the award-winning documentary Prairie Prophecy, sponsored by the Light of Christ Stewardship Committee.

This powerful and beautifully filmed documentary—created by filmmaker Michael Johnson, who is Tim Johnson’s brother—explores the changing landscape of American agriculture and the growing movement of farmers and communities choosing practices that care for the land, sustain local communities, and protect the future. Without being a “religious” film, Prairie Prophecy carries deep spiritual resonance, inviting reflection on Christian stewardship, care for God’s creation, and the responsibility we share for the one home God has entrusted to us.

Through stunning visuals and compelling personal stories, the film asks urgent questions about how we live, what we value, and how our daily choices shape the world we leave behind.

A brief Q & A and conversation will follow the film.

All are welcome—come, watch, reflect, and be inspired. Popcorn and refreshments provided!
