On behalf of the Church Council and the Stewardship Committee, I am delighted to be able to report that our year-end Christmas Appeal was a smashing success!
We were praying for an additional $25,000 above and beyond our usual, historic giving for December. You not only met that goal—you exceeded it! We raised over $35,000 above and beyond our normal December giving and so we ended the year with a surplus of about $12,000. Our income for 2019 was just over $527,000 and our expenses were just over $516,000. Thank you and God be praised!
In addition, you gave over $154,000 in 2019 to our New Day Capital Campaign. So, our total giving/income for 2019 was just over $680,000. We have much to celebrate and much to be thankful for as we move ahead into this New Year.
On a personal note I am so proud of you and so proud to be your pastor. It’s so gratifying to see how you rose to the occasion and met the challenge that was before us. I’m excited about all the good things that are happening here among us and I’m eager to see what the Lord has in store for us in the year ahead.
