New Worship and Music Director

On behalf of the Church Council and the Worship and Music Director Search Committee, we are delighted to be able to tell you that Katie Kohler has accepted our offer to become our new Worship and Music Director. Katie is a native of East Bethel, MN and currently lives in New Hope.  She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Flute Performance from the University of Minnesota.  She currently serves as the Director of Worship and Music at Redeemer Lutheran in White Bear Lake, and prior to her current position, served as Director of Worship and Music at St. Luke Lutheran in Saint Paul, and as the Interim Band Leader and Organist at Our Saviour's Lutheran in East Bethel.  Katie has also been a private flute instructor at Wayzata High School.  Katie's official start date is July 29th.  Please keep her in your prayers as she makes the transition to Light of Christ and welcome her warmly once she arrives.
